I have three years of experience working with two different private tutoring agencies based out of Southern California. I majored in chemistry in college but I also have a minor in math. Along with my core chemistry courses I also took Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Calculus 3. Currently I am teaching a variety of subjects ranging from middle school science to high school chemistry at a one-on-one program in Mission Viejo.
Teaching Methods
My lessons will involve an outlined description of the material about to be covered along with practice problems and answers. The ideal situation would be to obtain a syllabus of the course you are in or want to take so that we can coincide sessions with the material you are learning in class. I would also provide helpful links to video tutorials which I found highly useful in college, especially in mathematics.

About Me
Hi everyone my name is Jake and I am a young professional with two years of tutoring experience in subjects ranging from chemistry and physics to intermediate algebra and geometry. I spend most of my free time in the ocean or exercising but I also like to read and enjoy learning on multiple levels. Currently I am teaching and tutoring a variety of subjects at a one-on-one program in Mission Viejo called Fusion Academy. I have over 3 years experience helping students ranging in the ages of 8-18 face their academic challenges. I am easy going, patient and open minded to new learning structures and what ever it takes to overcome your academic obstacles.

Jacob is kind, patient, and has a great aptitude for geometry as well as chemistry. He is always punctual and prepared. I don't know what I would have done with out him.

Jake tutored my daughters (9th and 6th grades) in math and science and was really able to connect with them on a level that made the learning so much more understandable and
clear. He was so patient with them when they would become stressed or distracted and always managed to get them back on task. He really want his students to connect with the material and has the passion on patience to make that happen.
